Fuailefau played for Canada’s Under 17 and Under 20s outfits before progressing into the senior setup in sevens when the powerful, yet mobile forward, travelled to the Gold Coast in 2012 and then to Hong Kong and Japan in 2013. In 2013-14 he represented Canada in Australia, Scotland and England before also being selected for the Commonwealth Games. Fuailefau’s progress was rewarded in April of 2014 when he was named to the Tokyo Sevens Dream Team.

He played in all nine legs of the Sevens Series in 2014-15 as his improvements are clear for all to see, with the dynamic forward offering subtle offloads that keep defenders honest. Fuailefau
claimed gold at the 2015 Pan-Am Games in Toronto.
